GP Stage 3 Written Prioritisation Exercise 2
You are an FY2 working in a GP Surgery, and have just finished your morning clinic half an hour late. The other GPs in the practice are presently on their lunch break.
A. A patient who was seen by one of the other doctors earlier has returned to the surgery saying that his car is blocked in the practice car park, and requests the practice reception staff arrange for a vehicle to be moved (this happens to be your car).
B. The Orthopaedic SHO has left a message with the GP surgery receptionist (asking to speak to you) regarding a patient that you saw this morning, and urgently referred to them for further assessment.
C. A young child who is waiting to see the on-call doctor is crying loudly in the waiting room, with his mother unable to console him.
D. An elderly patient has just collapsed in the waiting room, after complaining of chest pain.
E. The practice nurse has asked to meet you, in order to discuss an MMR Uptake audit which you have agreed to complete.
