Calculation Task 20
A patient is prescribed 30 mg of Mirtazapine once daily, however they are unable to swallow tablets. Mirtazapine is also available as a 15 mg/ml solution which is 50% more expensive than the tablet equivalent. Each 30 mg tablet cost 40 pence. Over the course of 2 weeks, calculate the additional expense of prescribing the solution rather than the tablet.
