Average Candidate Response
This graph shows that as the carbon dioxide concentration increases, so does the rate of photosynthesis. Beyond 0.08 CO2, there is no further increase in the rate of photosynthesis.

This is a graph comparing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air to the rate of photosynthesis. On the X axis is the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air whilst on the y axis the rate of photosynthesis is being represented. The graph shows that at baseline, the rate of photosynthesis is 0. However, as the concentration of carbon dioxide increases so does the rate of photosynthesis up to a maximum rate of 0.08%.

On increasing the concentration of carbon dioxide past this point there is no longer an effect on the rate of photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is a gaseous substance which is essential for photosynthesis, and therefore an increase in carbon dioxide results in an increase in photosynthesis. However, above 0.08% another limiting factor which could be hindering the rate of photosynthesis might come into play. This could be due to several factors, e.g the plants are not getting enough light or water, or it could be temperature dependent. 

Overall there are no anomalies demonstrated in this data, however we do not know if it is from a reputable source. it would also be beneficial if units on the X and Y axis were provided.
