When Do Medical School Interview Invites
Come Out?
The information below is collated based on the historical experiences of our team of Medicine Interview Specialists; the majority of medical schools provide candidates with two weeks notice prior to interviews, with a limited number of medical schools (eg. Aberdeen) allowing candidates to choose their interview date from an available selection.
University of Aberdeen
Aberdeen Medicine interviews generally take place between November and February, with candidates historically invited by email to book an interview slot of their preference.
Barts and The London
Interviews normally taken place between January and March, with interview invitations sent out between December and March.
University of Birmingham
Birmingham Medicine Interviews and invitations are historically between December and March of the UCAS application cycle.
Brighton & Susses Medical School
The majority of BSMS Interviews take place in December and January, with a small number of interviews continuing until mid-March.
University of Bristol
Bristol Medicine Interviews historically take place between November and April of each application cycle.
University of Cambridge
The majority of Cambridge Medicine Interviews take place in the first three weeks of December, with invitations being sent out in late November and early December.
Cardiff University
Cardiff Medicine Interviews historically take place in December and January.
University of Dundee

Exeter Medicine Interviews take place between November and February, with the earliest invitations being sent in early November of the UCAS application cycle.

Imperial Medicine Interviews historically take place between December and March, with invitations sent out until late February.
